Baby Blanket!

First off I've been terrible at blogging but I've had so much going on and now I am able to share it all with you!

I saw a blog online about this beautiful faux chenille baby blanket and I thought it looked easy enough that I could do it even as a beginner. Since completing the blanket I agree and disagree with that statement! Here is the blog I used for the quilt.

My problem was sewing in a straight line since I have a small sewing machine but that didn't ruin the look of the blanket but it made cutting a bit more difficult.

I made this for my sister and brother in-law who are having their first child this fall!! It's a boy and I couldn't be more excited. I knew she would get a ton of necessary items and I thought I would make something instead. I really couldn't be happier for how it turned out! Below are some pictures of the finished product!

I would love to make more of these but I do need a break as it was a hefty load with all of the sewing!! Thanks for reading and enjoy!
