Perfect housewarming gift!! DIY Style!

I saw this wreath online and thought it would be the perfect gift for our friends that just bought a house.

I went to Michael's and bought everything. Grapevine wreath, felt, burlap, and house numbers.

I cut the burlap in strips and hot glued them in a swirl to the felt. I created 7 swirls and hot glued them to the wreath. I painted the numbers and hooked them on with eye hooks and strains to the wreath. It came out awesome!

Great housewarming gift with a personal touch! Hope you enjoy!!

Gunlocke throwaway

My Uncle Dean got me this desk a few years ago when the University he worked at was throwing them out. The desk was made by Gunlocke and a perfectly good desk. My dad and I sanded it then Chris and I painted it. The drawer knobs are from Pier 1, $6 a piece. The paint is from Walmart and I paid less than $10 for it. So this desk was a total of about $16. Perfect price and fits our style perfectly :-). The chair you see was redone by my Grandpa after I found it on the side of the road during a rain storm :-)

Now just to paint and organize the office a little more :-) Papasan chair was a gift from my parents, also from Pier 1.

Dining Room Table Project!

Finally completed the dining room table and it turned out awesome! With help from my father we completed it within an afternoon. We simply sanded, stained and put a clear finish on.

The table was a gift from my grandparents. The caster wheels and materials were a gift from my parents and the labor was a gift from my father.

I haven't quite figured out chairs but have a few temporary ones. Come on over for dinner sometime!!

P.s. sorry the pictures are out of order but my IPhone app doesn't allow me to add the pictures in any order or within my description. Enjoy!!
